Kidzone Family Day Care is an approved Early childhood and Education service in Sysdney metro. Our Educators are qualified and professional Early Childhood Educators who provide care and education in their own home. With only a small group of children per educator (carer), your child will spend quality time in a safe and familiar environment. Children will be able to play and learn while being cared for in the home of a qualified educator.
The intimacy of the home-based setting encourages a caring and social interaction between children of mixed ages and develops the skills they need for a good start in life.
Kidzone family day care coordination unit manages and adminsters the service as well as providing on going support, professional development and other training to our Educators.
Your first contact is with us and we will organise your request for family day care and monitor your child’s welfare in care.
Who can attend:
- Babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers
- School-aged children (before and after school care and vacation care)
Flexible hours
Our educators offer a variety of hours and days for childcare. Some also offer evening, overnight and weekend care. Please contact us to enquire about the availability of weekend care.
Fees:
You will be able to access family day care for an affordable fee.Kidzone Family Day Care sets the fees for each service. Child Care Subsidy (CCS) are provided by the Australian Government to assist with the cost of care. For more information on fees please contact our office.

The right educator for your child:
We have a network of more than 15 educators in the wider Sydney area. We know the days and hours they are offering care and will try to match your needs with regard to location and hours with the most suitable educator for your child. Please call us on (02 97878310)
Quick facts about our family day care services:
- All our educators have been fully checked and approved as suitable persons to work with children and providing a safe home environment.
- Our educators care for groups of up to 4 children not attending school and up to a total of 7 children under 13, which includes the educator’s own children, if any.
- We follow a ‘best practice’ of one child under 12 months old per educator at any one time.
- Our educators implement appropriate programs which include fun activities and experiences that follow the child’s interests and will assist them in their development and learning.
- Kidzone Family Day Care provides full support and training to our educators to ensure their professionalism. Support officers visit educators on a regular basis to support and monitor the quality of care provided.
- We provide a 24 hour on call service for families and educators.
- Kidzone Family Day Care is regulated under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Child Care and Protection Act of 1988.
What do I need to do to find care?
- Complete and submit the Application for Care form available from the home page of our website or contact the office and provide the details of your care requirements for the placement list
- Once care is available you will be contacted and provided contact details of the educators that have vacancies that match your requirements.
- You then need to contact the educators and arrange an interview time.
- Once you have chosen the educator contact the office on 97878310 to arrange a time to enrol your child.
What do I need to bring for the enrolment interview?
- CUSTOMER REFERENCE NUMBER (CRN) FOR YOURSELF AND THE CHILD OR CHILDREN YOU WISH TO ENROLL.
- DETAILS OF EMERGENCY CONTACTS. NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, MOBILE NUMBER.
- DOCTORS DETAILS.
- DENTIST DETAILS (IF ANY)
- MEDICARE CARD.
- DETAILS OF HEALTH FUND AND AMBULANCE FUND.
- CUSTODY ORDERS(IF ANY)
- MEDICAL MANAGEMENT PLANS. E.G. ALLERGY MANAGEMENT, ASTHMA MANAGEMENT

Parent Responsibilities
THE CUSTODIAL PARENT (INCLUDING GUARDIAN OR AUTHORIZED PERSON) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- SIGNING THE PARENT/EDUCATOR AGREEMENT WITH YOUR EDUCATOR WHICH OUTLINES THE COST OF CARE AND ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS REQUIRED.
- COMPLETING BOOKED HOURS WITH YOUR EDUCATOR.
- SIGNING YOUR CHILD/REN IN AND OUT OF CARE AT THE ACTUAL TIME OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE EACH DAY. OUR SERVICE USES HARMONY WEB WHICH IS AN ELECTRONIC SIGN IN SYSTEM. PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND AUTHORISED NOMINEES THAT REGULARLY DROP OFF OR COLLECT THE CHILD/REN FROM CARE WILL BE ALLOCATED THEIR OWN UNIQUE PIN TO USE FOR THIS PURPOSE.
- DO NOT SHARE YOUR PIN WITH ANYONE, NOT EVEN YOUR PARTNER. THIS IS YOUR UNIQUE DIGITAL SIGNATURE.
- SIGNING THE TIMESHEET AT THE END OF EACH WEEK, THIS IS DONE ELECTRONICALLY USING YOUR PIN OR ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE.
- PAYMENT OF THEIR PORTION OF CHILD CARE FEES.
- NOTIFYING YOUR EDUCATOR AND FAMILY DAY CARE OFFICE STAFF OF ANY CHANGES TO YOUR CONTACT DETAILS OR CUSTODY ARRANGEMENTS.
- CONTACTING YOUR EDUCATOR (PRIOR TO GOING TO THEIR HOME) IF YOUR CHILD IS UNWELL. PLEASE CONSIDER THAT YOUR CHILD’S EDUCATOR AND THE OTHER CHILDREN IN CARE MAY BECOME ILL IF YOUR CHILD ATTENDS CARE WHEN UNWELL.
